Politics, culture, ethics and more from the 24th century

Two Years Later And I’m Back In the Virtual Saddle

I started this experiment several years ago thinking I could keep this up as well as teach classes. I can’t. As it turns out I just don’t have the time. Even with a dozen AI’s, a virtoClone of my personality and a dozen or so students that want to do anything for my approval, I just didn’t seem to find the time to write. I mean, it is practically a dead art. Who writes anymore? Cerebral inserts are just quicker and more powerful.

Yes, I know there is a large group that would object with that. I know that reading is still something enjoyed by many. But honestly, it’s a slow waste of time. And that is coming from a history professor. Granted, the last 300 years have mostly been a technology wave, but history nonetheless.

I hope to be writing more. Perhaps just whatever comes to my mind going forward. Cheers!
